Washington, D.C. (October 4, 2022) – Flyer Defense will debut its new Hero-120 Configuration Kit on a Flyer® 72- Utility (F72-U) ground mobility vehicle during the Association of the United States Army’s Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. from October 10-12.
Located in Booth 2065, the F72-U Hero-120 configuration is compatible with the Hero-120 precision loitering munition system from Mistral, Inc. and UVision Air, Ltd. The system features a unique aerodynamic structure that can carry out pinpoint strikes against mid-range hard targets at the range of at least 40km, day or night, with minimal collateral damage.
Flyer’s Hero-120 Configuration Kit boasts a capacity for up to 10 munition systems with four ready to launch and six stowed.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to see the Flyer 72-Heavy Duty Javelin Configuration Kit in Booth #1410 outfitted with a Kongsberg Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) system, .50cal machine gun, nine Javelin missiles, and four M72 LAWs.
The Flyer Javelin Configuration Kit has a capacity for up to nine Javelin missiles, with six stowed in the rear, two on the roof and one loaded.
