LOS ANGELES (April 7, 2025) – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Flyer Defense, LLC reseller, MacGyver Solutions, Inc., a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the procurement of Flyer 72-Heavy Duty (Flyer 72-HD) ground mobility vehicles. The BPA, which includes one contract year plus four option years, was requested by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), reinforcing the Flyer 72-HD’s role as a premier light tactical vehicle for the most demanding mission profiles.
Purpose-built and combat-proven, the Flyer 72-HD has been fielded by USSOCOM since 2015 as the M1288 Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 Program of Record (GMV 1.1) and is highly configurable to meet the evolving needs of special operations forces. At 72 inches wide, the Flyer 72-HD is internally air transportable in the CH-47 and CH-53 helicopters; and C-17 and C-130 aircraft, making it ideally suited for rapid deployment.

Following the award of the BPA, MacGyver Solutions received an immediate Delivery Order for vehicles slated for delivery within the next 30 days.
