Two Flyer GMV 1.1 Vehicles Race in 2020 Mint 400 in Las Vegas

In March, Green Berets with the U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) entered and raced two Flyer Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 (GMV 1.1) vehicles in the Mint 400 in Las Vegas. Also known as The Great American Desert Race, the Mint 400 is an off-road race which, this year, featured the inaugural Mint 400 Military Challenge in which all five branches of the United States military were represented.

Along with the Flyer GMV 1.1 vehicles, the veterans of Warfighter Made raced in a Flyer One (Flyer 22), one of Flyer Defense’s first ever vehicle variants, to win first place in the military class. The California-based nonprofit organization provides recreational therapy to ill, injured and combat wounded veterans.
